I used to do some production metal work and it made me not want to do metal work anymore at all. I kind of resent it now. Its like half that stuff you make winds up sitting in stock for months with no logical reason for why it hasn't sold and the half that did sell is the the stuff that you particularly didn't like making because it was so mindless. I think it comes down to the fact that general consumers are kind of stupid and really cool stuff scares them. At least where I live that's true...
