I keep trying to double-tap these photos.... killer work everyone!
Ha!
Only thing worse is when I try to go to the next post by hitting the right arrow.
You know you've spent too much time on Instagram and imgur when...
What about when you're reading a magazine and you spread your fingers on the images to zoom in.. lol. I've done that. It made me feel like I spend too much time on my phone.
that's like waiting for a stop sign to turn green. yup. done that.
Been busy.

nice one herb! =o
Here is "lurch the perch" he was fresh last night. He is the first non prototype lure that I created a birth certificate for. (One for each lure from here on out) It includes my company/signature, it's name, made up origin, birth date, #lure (lurch is #62) Sorry, no paper certificate in the canoe with us.

Yes, that's how bright he glows in the dark, no lights. The less you work the green, the brighter it stays.
This next shot is a CURRENT photo from 5 mins ago. Sorry the world is sideways on this phone. Attachment 75298

This is the current in use stash of glow glass poppers. Going clock wise, starting with lurch (6 o'clock position) , next to him tied to the line, is "Theo" the Brown trout. His little sister "Rudy" , is the next Brown trout. "Bubba" the bullfrog is the final Brown looking lure. All three Brown poppers, have glow tails that look similar to a fire fly glowing on the water.
The next lure, with the big mouth, that's "Tina tops". Tina glows blue, with a green tail. Tina, used to have a bigger "T" shaped tail. With the original name "T-tops." The big tail got in the way of the hook. So he (t-tops) got reassignment surgery. (The same day Bruce became Christina, go figure.)
In the lower right corner, that's "Moby the Dick" he was prototype. He has over a 1,000 casts, and many, many, fish cought. He fought a 38" chain pickerel this week, twas epic. He got his name, because he is close to perfect. All the lures I make are a attempt to re-create "the white whale." He is blue with a green tail.
The final lure, next to Lurch, is "Ike the Pike" Ike was created the same day as Tina tops. Ike is green with a blue tail. Ike yells a lot, however he gets the job done.
Every one has popped its cherry, catching fish. Rudy is the only virgin. Rudy floats funny in the pool. A quick flame mod. Add a little weight to her head. Rudy too will get a ticket to the big show.
nice
Wow man taking functional to the next level :) I love it! I wanted to post my stuff from last night, but it was more well suited to the fail boat thread, I think from now on I want to consider that thread this ones sister hehe...

A current shot of "Lurch" by night. Still crushing on his first night out.
And he says...
When I grow up I want to be,
One of the harvesters of the sea.
I think before my days are done,
I want to be a fisherman.
def one of Primus most rocking songs.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to BoRo again.
Claypool might as well change it to Drew The Fisherman (and mad scientist glass blower!), you're killing it with those lures!
My friend and I made this the other night it functions really well too and is super heavy. Thanks for looking

I held the last piece Captain made with his buddy, and it weighs as much as a damn brick. Thats a pretty crazy piece dude. Gonna get that $$$.
Nice work captain, those lip wraps are super cool
Thanks ned I'm pretty sure this piece weighs more than the other one did and it has more work for sure. Now you have to come do one with us. We got PAID last time the 3 of us made something. Although I'm sure Brett and I will wanna just make cups since your owning the cup game right now.
And thanks Steve a lil stringer wrap goes a long way with the illuminati
Still gotta finish a drop and dome but the piece is done. Actually it was done a month ago. Just gotta find more hours in the day so I can keep up.
glow lures are sick af and actually reeling in decent sized bass with it must feel awesome :D
First piece ive made that i feel is worthy of this thread especially when i see these stroker posts

10.5 in stand up bubbler, first stand up bub i wanted to press the bowl but it was looking to good to risk as ive never pushed a clean bubbler bowl dan easily convinced me to just add the joint, gonna make some normal sized ones and practice that downstem bowl push. piece started out as a munny the seal at the neck was too sloppy and i blew it out to this huge can shape that sat on my bench for a week glad i blew that neck out rather than making a sloppy munny neck

Brad, that is GORGEOUS!
Here's one from me. "I am loved"
https://youtu.be/XhzMQDcapkk
/me loves this glass porn thread more any anything
and my measly contribution of the moment... /me drum rolls... a freaking spoon... LOL I love you guys...
I like the orange, blue, pink slyme color combo to be honest... I cant say why (what do yall think?)... I could see various linework patterns dealing with transitions of these though to my taste... man seeing Jxbey knock out some seals makes me wanna get over my reluctance/issues with working some tubes and joints, sigh... maybe I will just make spoons and chillums for the rest of my days... hey it could be worse man... /me shrugs I don't mind putting pieces in peoples pockets when it comes down to it.

sidecar i made for my cousin. the honeycomb got washed out in the kiln for some reason, i'm not sure if it's overtemp or what. i haven't had many problems with this before.. whatever, he was stoked.

in fact, this whole piece got kind of washed out, and i'm really not sure why. if anyone's got any ideas, i'd love to hear them. it's gold under silver i/o, the honeycomb was well struck when it went in the kiln. boggling here =o
big ol' marble, still warm after 18:47 in the kiln. (2.3")
