Ok so i tried my 3rd bub yesterday, i think i did my first reversal too, and its a few diff sections for practice and wasnt too bad xcept for the crooked bowl 'ERRRRRR" whatever only a waste of a few hours right, and i made the stem bout 1/2" too short, n should have encased teh blue red part cuz i think it looks like asss, but itll still work any ways heres the pics.. .

hell yeah, looks way better than my third attempt. now do 10 more of them.

are you putting the downstem in before or after you weld on the stem? i like to do it before i put the piece together so that i know that it's right (you can always make a new bucket if you have to). also, if you have a slightly uneven push you can make that the front or the back so that it covers the mistake.

it takes a couple tries to get the downstem/bowl push right. you might consider making a half dozen on clear so that you can see your weld well and you/re not wasting work on the ones that don't come out. if you get a good one you can still fume it and use/sell the thing.

i like the reversal section by the mouthpiece. you're very ambitious with your work. it helps you progress quickly to let your reach exceed your grasp. stay at it mang!

basically what i did was have the can section and teh mouth pice on a point and then welded them together b4 i put any holes in it, then i poped the top hole and droped in a stem and that welded in nicley and the hole closed up to perfect with a lil tungstun poke, then pushed the bowl in and straightened the stem, then carb hole, probally not the right order but it seemed right

so this is what i made last night, thought i was gona be stoked but MOFO only stands up on bed or wif water in i was pissed i thought i had it squared up but i guess the top is just a lot heavy!! heheheh

crip how are you opening your bowl holes?

already open I jstu pop hole for stem and drop in a slightly flaired stem and weld it up and thickin it and the hole shrinks down then i jsut use the tungston to keep it the right size then kiln it then, heat around and push bowl

i jacked that one up last night i was buzzed up on a late night blow, my weld to the can was all janky tooo, i think nextime if i fuck somethin up ill jsut tear it off and go again to fix it right

duh totally dumb moment on my part. I was going back over your pics and ended up on the last one and didn't even pay attention that it was a bubbler. Posting why impaired is never good.

those are pretty G for the first couple. i made one bubbler when i first started, managed to keep it from cracking too horrible, went to my buddies, packed it up and rested it on the table. just as i was about to grab it and spark i, he put his foot on the edge of the table and it tipped and shattered lol. have you tried blow ins yet? there the best! they use the smallest amount of color and have ill color gradients and shit. im gonna have to try a bubbler again. lol we should have some kinda friendly competition:devil1:

:DMan Nice I/o work progression is looking dope!!! love to see what comes outta other peoples minds!! Bubblers can be tricky i think my biggest problems are the bowl/stem or getting it to stand proper. One thing that helped me when flatting the bottom was to use a carbon rod in the bowl to make sure it was sitting right. Hold for a few seconds and make sure you don't let it sag if it is still hot. As a newb myself i always try to remember only heat up what you need to work and only hot enough to do what you need. Keep it up man and have fun!!!:D:D

thx man, i put it back in the kiln tonight and re flattened teh bottom so it should stand now, i also dotted up a pice after seen hommies cool dot pipes, well see how it turned out tomarrow

Oh also i forgot to mention but another way that i drop the stem on a bub is buy heat shrinking the stem hole before putting it in so it look kind of like a one hitter with a flare. That way your hole is set. it is a diffrent look thou depending on what you like. The only pic i have is not very good so i made a lil sketch with my dope paint skills!!!! lol:D:D:chilling:

I lke to put my drop stem into the can. Cut it off (flame) and pop a hole thru the downstem then push to the right depth...

WeEEEEEEE got the 50x2.5 yesterday and i liked it, but pullin points on it is a bitch, whats teh eaisest way to cut the cups jsut blotube it then open , ill jsut have to practice teh points big tube is harder fo sho

but made my first dichro mib yesterday n put it on teh roller im takin some to the shop in a bit see if he wants to buy em cuz he has janky thin tube rollers that hes sellin for 55$, well seee heres teh pics
