Love your work! That honeycomb up top is awesome. That purple came out great! Are you using some kind of mold for your honeycomb pendants?

Re: steaks thread - progression
Thats a great looking workshop, are those lathes made by the French company, Lafarge.
-
Re: steaks thread - progression
hi, yes lefefre, we can also turn it 90 degrees....
on the / above the ventilation units and at the two lathes we even have nox sensors wich tells us how much ppm nox gasses are present, so we see if its safe to work and if the ventilation works, i work at a university so most times i do repairs there

Re: steaks thread - progression
Thanks for the reply. I work at a University, wish i had some one to help with the repairs, I've got a mountain of them to wade through along with all the custom manufacture work. Better to be busy than quiet i suppose.

Re: steaks thread - progression
You own each style centerfire.
You posted pics , and have the new style set up..
what does the newer style centerfires do better ? What does the old one work best for? Do you feel like they are different enough that you want one of each?
Any tips , or opinions?
-
Re: steaks thread - progression
yes i own both, and i have both setup , the new one has, in my opinion, a smaller centerfire ,you really get super tiny flames, its a bit more adjustable,
sometimes when i work a bit longer on the older one i think its a little bit hotter but when i switch it isnt
i dont think they are sooo different, but i would take the newer one, because of the super adjustable centerfire
i really like the herbies becuse i learned in my secientific educationship on one
