Hey Deb and Mike! Good to see you guys here.
Hi all! I'm Angie, card carrying member of the bead lady mafia. Soft glass lampworker for four years, and covert invader of the GLDG for four months. Nice to meetcha!!
Hi
Greg and Deanna Chase, although I do most of the posting around here. Greg makes marbles mostly and has been it for oh 7 years or so, and I have been at it for about 3. I makes real girly beads, accept for the dragons and just learned marbles.
And we are the rv people, you know travel around in our rv and torch right inside it.
:wave
Okay, me too.
Julz here, lampworking for 2 years, soft mostly, but I like to try lots of new things, different effects with metals and reactions, and experiment with boro. I work really small usually, like hollows and small sculptures, and make plenty of beadies, just cuz.
I have a horse farm in MI, and my shop is in an addition on my barn. I just got heat so I am really happy about that. If you're ever in the mid-MI area and need a place to crash, give me a shout. Always nice to see new faces, and have enjoyed getting to know the crew here online.
Peace
Hey, I'm the new guy.. :D I've been out doing other things for about 3 years now and I'm 'fired' up to get back on the torch again. I'm starting from nothing. All I have is my Nortel MM and the gas lines.. :( but the 'break' was good. I'm coming back with fresh eyes and open ears. I'm reall looking forward to trying out some of this new color tube stuff.. I didn't have that before.
As for me, I was doing okish at it. I was just getting some skills when the guy I was working with moved with all his gear I was using. I'm very thankful for his help but it sucked when he left. My hobbie died at that point. We'll I've got some cash now, a place to work it, and the drive. I feel like I'm in a better place to take this on.
Anyhow, Hope to see you guys around.

I was a digital art major and my real job is doing webdesign and also ad design for newspapers.
As far as glass goes have been playing around for 6months in my spare time, i rock a shitty bead torch with little lpg cylinders and sometimes mapp. i do imploded flower pendants, iris orange and other reduction pendants/marbles, 1.25" vortex marbles for my friends.
just cant wait to rent some space somewhere and start on spoons and goblets!
Hello everyone I'm Arlo a.k.a. Olra420 from Detroit MI
I just got into glass blowing around a year ago, and I love it!!! I started on a National 8m with a 7port surface mix tip, great torch but not quite enough power for larger gathers, I just moved up to a Knight Bullet Burner, Great buy!!! I have been doing mostly pendants and beads, and I have done a few spoons, but I think that will all change now that i have more fire power. Well I think that this forum rocks and I look forward to many more posts
Peace All
Keep on Torchin

Hi everyone. My name is Krissa (FlameDancer on WC and LE) I have been working with glass for about 3 years now and I'm just heading into boro. I'm trying to soak up as much info. as possible....man, what a frustrating but ooooh so exciting glass it is. I am working on a cuda with propane gas and two oxycon's, which is NOT enough. I can't get really good color yet...hence, the frustrating part.
I am married, 21 years, with 4 kids. Two older boys, 21 and 19 and then have two others at home...a boy 9 and our little princess Maggie who is 4 going on 30:)
This looks like a great place to be! I'm off to soak up some knowledge
Welcome over Flamedancer, I see you on LE a lot. Hi, I'm Patrice, married with no kids but one also beginning boro working hubby. I've been at it for a bit longer, though, so he's not allowed near the NC-white...
I've been a lurker for awhile and decided to signup, great place ya got here. I'm from seattle and am a web/graphic designer. Some of you may have seen the book I layed out and had printed for pakoh. Hope to get to know you peeps in the future.
peace
My name is Corey. Been lampworking for about six years and still lovin it.
