Baylie I think the bends and diameter of the tubing on his curves helps to create a stronger straw effect "hooting power" than just a straight curve with no bends or diameter reductions.

Why not just make the whole thing narrower if that is the case? Or just do a restriction at the end and make the rest even? Have you seen the curves Tako is making? Sexy!! Nice clean even curve and really nice Ti pad. Not trying to thread jack so I will go back to the topic. What type of metal are you using for the wrap/hanger HMK? Is that stainless? If so what grade?
stainless bike spokes.
i haven't seen a tako curve i dont think. its prolly lame :D
You invented the curve?!? Are you serious. That is the most absurd thing I have ever heard. Did you help nomad invent the wrap and rake too? Give me a break. You may have not seen one when you made the first one you made but 'invented'... Um, no. Thanks for that though. I really needed a good laugh. Good job. And about the bike spokes... yeah.... Even stainless gasses off.
why it is absurd? no one was using curves with ti pads, it was my idea. i didnt exactly invent the curve, but before i came up with this idea, it wasnt done by anyone. it was around 7 years ago i started doing it, its well documented. i never saw a curve design used ever before mine, although soon after i saw pics of huge bells with glass pads, i guess that was a method used by a few. go do some research before you choke on yer cereal. now i have a hoard of copiers. people copied my idea and won the high times cannabis cup. people copy my idea and sell thousands of skillets :)
Never seen anyone using aluminum and a straw? People have been freebase'n stuff long before you started doing it.
whats your point? now you are getting off base a tad.
my style of design is essentially taking the old school hotknife style, of hot knifes on the stove, and putting it on a hinged swingarm on a curve on a small bubbler for portable water cooled hot knife hits. i dont claim its revolutionary, but by the way its catching on, i guess it is.
lots of pissing going on in here. whose goes farthest ? :devilish:
go ahead come and pick on me, its the in thing to do, i'm game!
i sent you rep points. i'm not trying to pick sides. you obviously have fought this battle many times over in more places online than here. keep it going and kill em with kindness.
i actually just noticed that after i posted. thanks for not picking sides, thats unusual :)
Right here you clearly claim you invented the curve. That is a total fallacy. You may have been the first one doing Ti pad swing arms, maybe, but to claim you invented the curve it self is the part I am calling utter nonsense. I think the fact that I was making curves for taking oil hits off coal back in the '90's makes me qualified to make that call. I am not saying we used Ti pads. I don't use Ti pads. And the fact you are using a metal that gasses off toxic fumes for the swing arm bothers me pretty badly. I am not trying to attack you. I just call BS when I see it. If you were to use stainless to wrap a GLASS swing arm to hold the Ti I think it would be a great plan and the stainless would be far from the heat. It would also look pretty dope. Good luck. I wish you the best.
HMK keep doing your thing. people in the know, know the truth.....
the point you are not quite getting is that "my style, is the best, and i'll kill anyone, who dares to go against me!"
or no, i meant that, my oil curve with ti pad units are popular as hell, and i never got no curve idea from anywhere but in my head. and i dont think anyone actually made a good curve design till i got my sister to, most likely. as i mentioned i seen some pics of huge bell things with glass paddles, not the greatest for good hits. since i started this trend, its become a huge new form of aromatherapy, about #1 for delivery that there is, as attested to by the ridiculous wait times for units, hoards of copiers, and orders comin' out my ears :)
I have to agree that you hardly invented anything, like said before people have been heating metal(aluminum foil) and inhaling it through a tube(curved or not who cares) for a long time.
Just because you came up with a great idea on your own does not mean that it has not been done before.
could be. y'all coming of as seeming jealous almost. like i said in the last post, and previous ones, my adaption of the hotnife to a small bubbler and curve setup with hinged pad has become very popular, and there was never a curve phenomena as there is now, before i trendsetted it all for yo ass. no one was making ti pad setups on hinges before me, and since i did, mega people do it. i get bited every time i show my idea pretty much, lol.
if he was the first to make it curved and adapt it for a water piece then don't in one sentence admit and dismiss it. as well the swing arm deal he makes claim to as well, i don't see anyone denying that he and his sis did that first. give the guy his glory.
besides, thats the beauty of creation and the connectedness we all have and share. we might, in seperate places, be blessed with the same concept. seems like something to celebrate, not hate.
