theres a psi gauge too, this sits right in the middle of the tank. i imagine it like a keg and the stem going straight down to the bottom. I dunno though. im loving raging my torch though shit is great. i got so much prep done can't wait to get back in. this is the best job i have ever had. i am struggling but i am happy. woot!
been making rigs lately. how many names do these things have? people call em tubes and rigs and i can't keep up hah. i am enjoying making these and have slowly been speeding up my process but I am not sure what to sell these for. They all have fixed 2 hole diffys and 14mm joints. mostly fumed. I was thinking $75 wholesale. what do you guys think, too high, too low?? thanks for looking!

That fumed marble is sick all by itself. Really good looking work. Can't help ya with pricing other than get as much as ya can and set your bar. I've paid almost $75 for a small sherlock with low grade ISO (<-- can only say that now bc I know better, thought it was a beauty at the time, haha).

you know fume really looks great on a black background. out in the sun, but with a black background would look a lot different.
yah I know haha but this was all I could find where i was. my buddy had a black suit jacket but it didn't look good.
What I have been working on lately. I would really like to get my shapes consistent and my fuming down so I have been trying to do that. I need wholesale orders too. Man it's tough scheduling torch time and sales....

haven't really kept this updated lately. I update my instagram a lot more. This is my first attempt at making a pipe with colored line tubing. I have made some fumed line tubing before and was pretty happy with the results. I can't seem to get a nice spiral though. Anyone have any tips they could share. Do you heat the tube in sections and rotate or heat the whole thing at once? I picked up reballs pretty quick and I am happy with how they are coming out but I would like a nice spiral. I really screwed this one up because I kept trying to fix it.

To make a nice spiral, I generally heat up the whole thing at once, all nice and even, and then start twisting slowly. The key is to watch the glass move - if anything isn't moving how you want it, spot heating can be useful, either while you keep twisting or stop twisting for a moment, depending on what seems right.

I bought some color tubing from PJ Davenport so I practice some reversals and multi section pieces. I've only made wig wags, reversals and a couple sherlocks so far but with each one im progressing. I can't get my wig wag kicks sharp, they come out kind of roundish at the tip. Also I am having some trouble stacking reversals. I have't done many of these but I am getting a lot of distortion and ugly seams. Heres a couple recent pics of stuff.
