I think that is what piqued my interest with wire as well. It has a consistency to it. I guess it of course depends on the application. So many unique applications to try and only a lifetime to try them. It's just not fair.

anyone use raw gold nuggets? it is what my friend uses and told me is best, and i noticed some of the top fumers like maka b and royals use nuggets. something about have trace amounts of other elements in it.
ive been using a silver american eagle, .999 gold in the form of a pamp suisse card, and most recently some nevada gold. the nuggets are easy to break into even smaller pieces, and you can definitely tell there is a good bit of silver and something else in it.
my first fume tume. i fucked up and tagged the wall to the downstem while placing one of the marbles, didnt crack though so should be good, probably keep it though or to a friend. also fucked up and scraped off some fume near the mouth piece with my reamer because the gold was hot enough to come off??? not sure on that one, kinda pissed!

and a cut n flip spoon. this tech is really fun and i would love to do some prodo of these if i could get the right price but it took me almost and hour. what do you think its worth wholesale? the colors pop so much more and really keep their vibrancy

cool tube. that reamer wiping off the gold thing sucks. I try to avoid gold on the inside when I know I have to ream it open.

If you have milky combs, and I were to guess... Try one with your propane pressure at 1/2 it's normal number on your regulator.... And blast the fume off the inner glass before you dot it up " till its nicotine colored" I also added 20%? ( of the total fume coat ) Gold fume to each one. ( You can see the 3d pink, never got that on my cc?)
Ok I'm new to this so be gentle...

Boro your combs look badass brotha !
And paulsafo for just dialing it in your got some good looking colors in there
I'll try and upload some here in a minute, for whatever reason it won't do it from my phone.
That's a great color blend, especially for being new to fume. Ease up on the silver. The only time you need heavy silver is when it's on the outside and will see lots of flame action. Anything that will be internal can be super light and get super vivid colors. Also, after you fume both metals, cook them for just a few seconds on a flame that is just bushy enough to have a single yellow/orange line up the center. That will blend the two perfectly, which is how you can make sure you get that great blend again. And don't be bummed when your next few don't come out as nice…that's a really perfect blend you have in those.
Thanks Aymie I will give it a schott. I mean simax. I mean
Yeah, I like schott…but I am usually alone on that.
