AHHH shop work today. I learn more that way by a long shot. Pulled bullets today. Homie got his first order at a shop in Austin. Exciting stuff. Pulled tubes to get ready for the production marathon. lookin good man ur implosions show a lot of promise. i agree with fume on the spoon bowl pushes. i get it super hot a little too hot then i shoot a quick puff down the tube which blows the propane out and evens out the bubble as well as cools the inside so theres less temp differential between the outer layer of glass and inner. because the outside cools a lot faster without doing so .
i dunno if you were going for a textured effect but to me lines that aren't melted in smooth look a little funky, i like to get stuff i work super hot and melt everything really smooth. i do like that lines help to keep the tube from twisting because its thicker so its easier to see if one hand is spinning faster than the other. typically the smaller punty/tube is gona wanna spin faster so i try to brake that hand and spin a little quick with the bigger side.
Ah thanks guys. Love it. I was using the lines for a little extra wall thickness, trap the fume, and primarily be able to see how much I'm twisting. I am lovin this shit. Just need more time to practice. Ran out of oxygen tonight and the shitheads are closed on weekends waaaaahhhhhhhhhh
