I agree about Youtube has lots of info! Finally home and caught up with everything from being gone. Getting out on torch tonight so new stuff soon I hope. Just wish I had my CC back from carlisle. They have had it for over o month :( Kinda getting frustrated but shoudl be home soon I hope. Then I can start in on some hardcore prodo work. Tryin to stock up for festy season!

I do some that way to constant, just like look of stand dots sometimes and usually what I do if bowl pushed deep and don't wanna loose any space inside. Its all about air flow and cleanabillity to me. I've been collecting glass for twelve years and I've come to decide what I like in a pipe. Makes it hard sometimes cuz I'm a picky s.o.b. when it comes to glass. But I've found I like almost all my pipes there like my babys.
The turtles back is closer to a quarter in size. Most of other been lil bigger then a dime
Finally heard from carlisle, well I called em, my cc should be on way back now. I'm ready for a big ass flame again. I wanna do more color and bigger things :) but I'm glad I got a second torch

^^^im the same way with my glass, im picky. too often do i find a piece in a store and it has a pinhole carb or the bowl hole lets anything through, its just a waste to me. function is everything.

nice man i actually like the two dots as the stand i am always looking for ways to change of the style of each piece and i have yet to see anyone do this...and that turtle is awesome keep it up!
Everyone's done the dots or little mibs for stands. One you realize what a pain in the balls it is to make every piece sit level doing that you'll stop too LOL. Nice progress, keep it up. Your pics are making me miss the big back yard at my old house :( I want to frollick dammit.

I agree dots are hard to line up even but I like em :) Alien , Wanna come mow my yard, you can play in it all you want in it, its only seven acres. Lol, but it is almost that time of year again and the mowing sux, But I def love having some space to play.

Here is some new stuff. Its like Im relearning shaping pipes now that I got my CC back. But by third one ( has the spiral on mouth piece) I was doin better. Also I gettin alot closer to makin my prodo pipes in ten min. Did one in 15 yesterday, then got distracted making rings. These are my first attempts (first attempt on the left the black and red one, and are in order of how I made them left to right)

LOL, its only thing I could come up with to hold rings. Worked Good though!
nice work dude! i havent tried rings yet ill have to figure those out.. i like the blue tubing to! i have some amber colored tube i have yet to try..i shoulda bought some blue to it looks cool!..keep it up bro!

I finally got my feathered w/r looking tight! Been tryin turtles on the front! Also been tryin wig wags and threw some marbles on a couple. I made the marbs out of scrap!!!!! Also got a pic of my case(all work from mon-wed) thrown in even though only like ten of em left now after last night.

Here is my work from thur, took it easy and went to Stoopid Show, made some winestopper tops wit custom order Illini colors. Stopped at the lake and took some pics on a sunny friday! So this is where Im headed on my cobalt and green tubes. Gotta get my dots lil closer but still really like how it turned out. pics from phone sorry if not hi-quality,

I Like doin fume on the neck cuz I burn it off mostly everywhere else ( i never get any fume on front bowl area ) for some reason, I always keep my flame reducing???? Also some times i get spots in fume area, not sure what thats from either, and i think it looks bad. this one turned out nice though :) well off to local music shows, Im only one ever rocking a case and get alot of weird looks and wow cant belive it type shouts its awesome lol I just say believe it ! So far no hassels(been worried bout the cops, but i aint got shit illegal, just glass so they can come check em out if they want but try to avoid it lol), Just been working sidewalks mostly but know the owners of two bars so sometimes inside too, everyone is very supportive at our local music spots. Kind folks! and good tunes = fun fun fun and also now I never come home broke ;) And building up a big fan base and made a facebook for my glass! We put on a local two day local (college town eastern IL university) camping music charity festival at end of april and I cant wait !! Its called the woodchuck music festival, and all money goes to charity! Im a sponser/vendor so getting my logo on the shirts :) and get to make some $

awesome thanks for tip and link, I kinda figured the reason was somethin similar to what you said.
i read one time if the silver bubbles its too hot. i started keeping it further out in the flame after that and got better results too.
you can also move the piece being fumed a lil further back
