Yes, there's definitely plenty of room to do a pendant swap, or an anything else swap! I traded a bunch of pieces this last year. A bunch of people were trading pieces on the last night in particular when we were displaying all the glass we made over the week or brought with us.

I'm not saying for sure, but there is some discussion of having a show/tell at the beginning of the week, so everybody knows what sort of skills and techs that everyone else has.
this makes it nicer to seek out people you might want to learn some tricks/tips from, as well as who you might want to swap with later on.
Last year was my first year and I can't make it out for 2012, but what Moch said sounds like a great idea!
I can give y'all my demo list now. I am really good at drinking, surviving on little to no sleep, singing to people in the port o potty, and jamming out to nineties music. I will bring plenty of dead brain cells and poisoned liver for trading.

Hoss I'm a first timer too. Kinda feels like going to a college frat party, 90% know each other, 10% don't have a clue ... lol, from all I've read and seen picture wise we're in for 7 or so day's we'll always remember. AGI has a pretty good mix of new people, people who go every year and people who go every other year or so. It's different when you know people from here, too. AGI is a pretty welcoming community, and a week-long celebration of glass only for blowers, what could be better than that?

If I can swing it, I will be late. I miss my sisters birthday every year. This year she turns 21. I can't miss that. Then I have the wedding that I said I would blow off, but it's one if the only family members that I am close to.

I turned 47 This week and have minimal skills garnered from here and YouTube mostly. I figured to make up for lost time. Just bought my ticket. Thanks Jay, I miss you too my friend. I'm lucky to be a part of this event, and it's so much fun having so many like minded people together in one place.
If you ever feel like taking a little road trip to hang out, you can come up for a vacation anytime you want. We always have bench space, gasses, and a place for you to crash : )

after talking about AGI so much out here in Austin, I realized I'd better put up my deposit already! Definitely not to be missed. I'm super looking forward to seeing all of you out there.
Putting faces to names after all these years is going to be a trip! I'm damn excited myself. It will be the first time in 10 years I've ever done something within the glass community.(other then the CK Show in Jersey) I'm damn glad it's the event I've been following since falling in love with glass and among people I consider friends even if I've never seen em face to face. Be there with bells on.
So who's got the longest drive? I'm coming from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina - thinking 14 hrs, maybe 13ish?
