Re: October Homefill Sale $699 Shipped
I just got my shipping quote back for a compressor. It can be hooked up to 5 to 10 lpm machines from 6 to 20 psi. The fill time will be under 12 hours depending on the oxy con output fill times will vary. Also there is no oxygen purity testing I believe, and it will fill to 2k psi.
A homefill is about 35 pounds this is 150 pounds. It is a much more industrial type of machine.
They are pretty pricey though. I will let everyone know how the compressor works out after I get it.

Soooooo excited about this one! Thank you Drew for all that you do!

Nope A micro boost can only fill a k a day I am pretty sure and they only suggest it for 3 fills a week.
This can fill them in less than half that time, comes with a one year warranty with an expected life of 3 to 5 years if you keep it maintained. With 10LPM at 20 psi they say you can get fills under 10 hours so you could fill two K tanks in a day.
Here comes the downfall is the price is going to be probably $3750, unless I can get the price negotiated down. I am getting one for myself period just to have. This is going to me more of an investment for long term use than a homefill. Considering what the ex homefill machines were selling for and the superior capabilities I think people will be interested
I will be able to sell them but I am not expecting a large amount of orders with the cost. But it could be a good investment for a small shop or large scale oxygen user. I plan on testing the machine for a while though before I would sell any

Feel free to post thoughts about this potential new product. Or any other discussion about it.
Re: October Homefill Sale $699 Shipped
What kind of electricity does it use? I'm interested as I burn through a k a day now and am looking at expanding. For now I'll be subsidizing what my homefill puts out with LOX but at $500 a fill it'll pay for itself in less than a year. When you are ready to sell these let me know. I'll be one of your first customers for sure.
Re: October Homefill Sale $699 Shipped
It can use standard US power, it takes 115v at 60 hz. It is a different cylinder design that moves allowing it to take less force so it averages 500 watts of power usage. I will post some pics when I get it setup and filling. So you will be looking at about 1kw to run the oxy con and the compressor so it should cost less to fill a tank than a homefill in power.
Re: October Homefill Sale $699 Shipped
pm when you are ready to start selling these. I want to start a 4-6 bench shop in the next few months and will at that point be at the 2 LOX fill a month consumption rate. I need something like this before I start because a $1k a month oxy bill is a nail in the coffin of my dream shop before its even born.
If this works well i'll be able to rent bench space to visiting artists as well as host workshops, so for me this new machine could be the engine that drives my dream.....I'm excited for your feedback as to how these work to say the least.
Re: October Homefill Sale $699 Shipped

I sent you a pm and was wondering if you still had any homefill units available....thanks in advance

Re: October Homefill Sale $699 Shipped
Sorry if I didn't get back to you or anyone else I have had a lot of people PM'ing me wanting homefills, and I have been sick as a dog. I can still make some whips, but for the time being I have no homefills. If I can get any more I will post them up but it will more than likely be a very limited amount.
I am working with a company on getting some more serious compressors that can fill a couple K tanks a day that will hold up better. But I wont have the test model that I'm spending a good chunk of change on for another month. Also looking at picking up some other better compressors as well.

Re: October Homefill Sale $699 Shipped
I would like one. How do I get in touch with you?
Re: October Homefill Sale $699 Shipped
fwiw,
After seeing the larger compressor in this thread I did a quick search and found this company.

Do you have the 10LPM or the 20?
Looking forward to hearing how the larger units work.
Re: October Homefill Sale $699 Shipped
The compressor company I am dealing with is offering a special price until April 7th if I give them some pics of it in action and a review of the product.
I can sell them for $2600 plus shipping from HK until then if anyone is interested it is a really well designed machine, makes a homefill or rix look tiny.
I have the 10lpm models and have filled a K in 9 hours. I could check on the larger ones if someone is interested.
If someone else can get them talked down lower on price I would be glad to see them cheaper.
I have no more homefills did not even know this thread was still up
