Nice work. If it were me I would bridge them and work that curve alot more. The hardest part for us when we start makin locks is getting that curve to flow smooth.
It takes alot more heat and time than is thought at first and for some reason when we are still noobs, we fear the time it takes to make it flow and rush to get stuff back in the kiln so it won't spontaneously break, hehe.
Some of the curves can take upwards of 10 minutes to get em right. I work stuff like this all the time without a klin. Batch anneal at end of day.
Oh and this is not meant as anything other than a little help from someone who has been where your at.
