Not a finished piece, but a section my first ever vac stack, got a total of what will prob end up being about .65 to .75 lbs of tube YAY! Might not have got it all pulled without a little twisting, but it will be fine for my purposes :) Pretty excited with how it came out. I used 1/3 Green Stardust, and the other 2/3rd was Really Teally/Lemon Drop stripes. I used two small cobalt 4 stringers in between the two main color sections to get everything packed in tight.
Can't wait to make something with these in it :) And in any regard, this should be the beginning of some new ways I decide to make things :).

Nice honeycomb, Mattypo! That green stardust looks good with that teal and lemondrop, Gomi
I tried my hand at another sherlock, had to put it back in the kiln and shorten the tail so that it would rest more upright, but I was ultimately very happy with this one too:

(Also, thank you DEmpty for the nice comment!)
I made an Alien in despair crawling somewhere to die after being injured in an intergalactic war. The staff is a separate piece that is a Honey Badger.
I like the backstory to that haha! More MORE!
Got a bethlehem lathe. Been doing Some tuning up and still Far from spinning Tru, but was able to learn enough to make these guys. About ready to try adding in some worked sections.

These jesussealrecycler are alot of fun to make and the function is top notch if I do say so myself.
I saw a video on the seal for those and have been wanting to try one at some point ever since. Looking sweet. What red did you go with?
Thanks. That red would be elvis.

Wrap and rake , stripes and inside out for now.
Wrap and rake is the best! Strongest and most even.
dude you make my work ethic seem non-existant... and i love you for that

friggin stoked! I just pulled my first millie, stringer stack taco, I thought it was going to come out terribly but I think it's convincing enough
here's how it looked before the pull

Once again I still think this thread is one of my all time fav's. I have been meaning to make a stringer stack for a little bit now, unfortunately the subject manner is much less innocent haha!. Gonna sign all yer work with that stamp tacos? Gratz!!

you bet I am! I also have a little bit to sell/give away, I used about a 3 inch blank of 32mm and got quite a bit, I highly recommend it, it's a fun thing to do while waiting for the kiln to warm up, or during any down time/safety breaks
building the bottom half is the worst part cuz sometimes the stringers will shift all over the place, I had to dump it out and re-do about four times, I still don't get how the pros do it so cleanly
I'll also add that this is the first time my mom was not impressed with my work, she says it looks like something the dermatologist would remove from your skin, and doesn't think it looks like a taco lol :/ oh well
