Here's a few progress shots of the piece I'm working on right now. Still have a lot of work to do before I'm finished with it, but thought I'd share anyway. Probably gonna finish up for the night shortly, and have to take tomorrow night off, so it will probably be a few days until I can finish it and get pics posted.

Finally took the time to upload and resize the pics of this piece. Same piece posted above, but finished this time. I was doing a demo of the bends for my buddy who's been working with me, and forgot to reshape my mouthpiece the way I wanted it, and being distracted a little bit, the bend didn't come out as pretty as they usually do, but still a pretty nice piece IMO. Been tying to do a lot of multi section stuff the past few days, working on the proportions of each section relative to the piece i'm working on. My stem section was bigger than I wanted it, and my space section in the bend a little smaller than I wanted. The two ends of the space section should have lined up when I made the "u" shape in the bend, but with the sizes being off it made that not really possible unless I brought the diameter of that section down a little more, which I did not want to do. Also burned out a tiny spot in my fume by the lower maria, but it's not very noticeable. Also got some opals in the mail today!

Fumed a clear blank and lined with clear. Wig wagged. Repeated. Coilpotted some onyx onto another blow tube and fumed and trapped. Blew it into the fumed clear to sleeve. I should've given it one more layer of clear to get more depth but all in all I'm pleased. That's all schott though. For the giant book of meaningless record.
Where can I get a copy? Seriously, though, knowing the glass is good info.Quote:
