I made this yesterday, got to see it this morning. Its my first all colored spoon. and like my 7th spoon ever. Accidentally went too heavy with the silver in the middle, but I definitely like it and plan on doing more.

I also cought a lunker on the newest lure. The lure's name is "Thor" he was custom xl, for a friend in a tornament. I figured I best try him out before I gave him up. I may have to make a few more larger ones for my self to keep. It was hard to let Thor go after he landed this monster. No scale , but it was over 5# easily.

i've been working on two color honeycomb tubes. Here's my first few attempts... could be better, could be worse. Yellow over Jade, Hyacinth over Orange, and Aqua Azul over Orange. I've searched briefly for other examples of this tech but I haven't found anything like it yet. If anyone knows of another artist doing this, please point me in that direction.

Wow missed a bunch of great stuff the past page here!
Made my first two color female joints (probably 5th and 6th joints ever) and threw the first one on a practice tube (hence color combo choices). The joint fits snug and everything went well. Need work keeping everything even at larger sizes but I am happy. Coil potted some citrus mistress seconds (airy as shite off batch orange crush , but looks kinda neat in that "carbonated orange soda" kinda way /me shrugs) pulled it out into about a 12 to 14mm little tube and whammo. Took me a few practices on some 12mm clear, but I got it down pretty quick.

Made a slyme joint next which I think came out even better, it does stick above the joint about a mm or so but it isn't bothering me. Trying to figure out the best way to transfer them over to the tube itself without just using a male glass joint (fear of fusing). I just did a kinda crappy seal with some 12mm to the finished end, reamed open the connection and slapped em together and popped off the 12mm like a cold seal. Worked really well, but I could see the 12mm tube not coming off as well and cause a lot of problems. Another thought was just to cold seal punty up to the finished end and add it like I would add any marble or attachment. Should be obvious and simple, but for some reason my mind is looking about. Either way I think this means I shall be working on more tubes finally :)

The knight rider looked gray in the vac stack 4 some odd reason.
I made a second pull with more 02. Seems darker, but still kinda gray.
It's line tube for a big project, had to try a smaller piece before I put in the time/ 2 layer ect..

Gomilobster I don't recall who? Was it Dan cooper, mentioned taking a male glass joint, and removing the smaller half of the ground section. It keeps the ground holder further from the heat. I can't give it a review, I have always gone easy with a full glass joint.
i can't seem to get knight rider to stay black under encasement either.....jet black and black violet are about all i use for black lately.

Ahh very nice chillums, I dig it, just built my second roller myself, so I am hoping that encourages me to use some of the color I snagged recently in some kinda pull. Only had one really successful vacstack out of 3 so far, and it was the first hah. I will keep in mind the short joints, but I think I am getting the forming down better and better, just made a purple lolly joint and at first there was more give than I would have liked, but by the end I had to let er cool to remove from the last round using a male joint finish, and its snug as a bug in a rug.
The orange one above is nearly perfect, just the ever so slightest of wiggle. Is any wiggle room at all generally unacceptable for hand formed joints, or do people feel the slightest bit of wiggle is acceptable on hand formed if you are not selling a 300 to 500 dollar rig? Just wondering if I should chalk the above tube up to practice, or considering I can get a joint to stick in there and hold up the tube from it, if thats cool. Personally I would feel it isnt much of a problem, when I stick a plugged male joint in there and blow hard there is only the smallest bit of air that escapes. I however don't want a potentially upset customer or a shop buyer to roll their eyes or something.
