Welcome, glad to read your first post.
So-crates is not just an alter-ego, it is a part of it. I'm pretty sure I know who I am, do you know who you are?
Me, a complete new-comer and just beginning. MR. Southern Fume is kind enough to allow me to audit the trade, and teach me too!
Science, Chemistry, Life and its foibles, maybe scientific glass blowing down the line (sure, a little nerdy maybe but what's wrong with that)!
Recently had my share of the corporate world thanks to the infamous AIG, and the cup has runeth over, a blessing in disguise!
So, here I am, and here we are!
And to the future, come what may - here I am starting a great trade!!
Thanks Courtney - for everything!
Life is interesting!

Hello everyone. Another newbie checking in here. I'm Mary-Anne from Nova Scotia, Canada. I've been playing with fire for the past year and a half and like allot of you have become totally addicted. I need a twelve step program.
I am working on a Mega Minor and am looking at upgrading in the near future to a Lynx. When funds allow that is. Glass has been my passion for the past 5 years, only it's been the cold variety. I wanted to start making sculptural elements to incorporate into my SG and thus began my journey. Since no classes are readily available to me everything I have learned has been gleaned from books or the internet. It's been a trip to say the least. lol My adventure with Boro however is only a few weeks old. It's a whole different animal I'm finding and so much more forgiving than soft glass.
Anyway that's pretty much it in a nutshell. Nice to meet you all.
