so last night I thought I made some cool stuff, hahah
when i pulled it outa the kiln it looked good i wiped off the end and it fell on teh ground perfect break, i can see where my bowl push touched in just 1 tiny spot up top that probally caused it, but its a perfect break..
and the other one came out alright nothin to special..

Where you put the disk in the stem, I've been trying to do a good one of them for a while, you got it looking good there.
Ya thx guys 1st try swampy, i just blew a hole in the side of my 5 in tube and reamed the hole open , then stuck that sucker in there and melted it all in, got a lil over the top and messed it up a bit but im sure the next one will be better.. I made a clear one tonight with a clear n fume neck I think it came out good well see.

had some fun with the fume last night, finally got the gold to work for me, now i know the trick..
so I was stoked 27 min for the clear n fume, 44 min for the blo in, and 29 min for the wrapn rake?? dont know why it took longer maybe just to melt it all in..

all 3 of these were prepaid so i was happy 80$ for all 3 weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee..

do you just drop the milli in the hot tube before you frit?
i like those dots of clear to give the bowl a little more texture
i've been doing mad inside millies (murrine) too! rock. i open up the tube and put them inside with a cold seal on the back of the millie.
looking good crip! it's hard not to get any twist while you shape, you did a good job.

The frit an millie look good crip. I really like the one above it... the gold fume w/clear line ISO looks really sweet. Great job on the fume!!!
Thx Lurch im workin on fumin more now and starting to like it.. did a few the other day, and a few tonight, tried some red tube worked good well see how the color is tomarow

Me too Crip I been playing around with fume too, wikid organic kind of patterns.
I only have silver, I don't have gold.
I tried melting one of the posts of Terry's earrings but it was probly just 14 carat, doesn't hardly do anything, must be a lot of other base metals and filler in there.
So where could I score a suitable piece of gold, that's what I'm asking.
a coin store you can get gold, also buying gold wire works..., just make sure that it's either 22 or 24 carat. They both work differently so make sure you learn/ask how to use what carat you buy.

looking good crip. one suggestion is on the window pipes blow out your reversal ball so its not so thick. that could also be why it cracked. you have some good ideas and your shaping is getting much better. il have to say my favorite one is the frit with milli, it looks cool. glad to see ya still working hard.
sweet stuff crip, you will be a fume junkie like me soon.... shit i have barely done anything but fume for the past few months....
