god damn
the weaves on that second bub are so clean
That's the shit right there. Props 4 U called and said one more and you get a free sandwich.
man i really dig your flat cane work, thanks for the inspiration to try some! really like the ribbness of the can, looks fucking stellar.
cheers
your shit is tight yo!!! ahahaha, i really like your stuff and it seems you put a decent amount of time on ur pieces, i hate doing the weave pattern it is such a painstaking process. can i ask? do you cut up pieces of cane and tube stack em? anyways sick pieces and pics.
SICKKKK ...too ILL to speak !
thanks guys..i gotta give credit to Marcel And Jlee for teachin me how to make, and use flat canes... i'm nowhere as fluid as they are with them.... my LGW press makes them possible..
magma- yes.
how much to teach me that trick I am not ready yet but will be soon been workin on stick-stackin but that basket weave is the sheiiiit!! good work and can only wait to be doin that thanks for showing
i'm still learning... tried some new ways yesterday.. thanks for lookin
so how exactly does one go about doing a weave? i can guess a general idea.... but id rather not lol.
sweet pieces and i especially love the b&w photos of them... now tell me how to weave! :D
its exactly like you think it would be done.
i was lucky enough to watch carlson make a few in VT.
very tedious..
i tried some back at home and they crack like HELL when you are building them
lots of small pieces built together make the vessel.
doing it clean is the hard part..chris has it down though!
make flat cane, chip it up, assemble into design you like... mine are pretty standard right now, still exploring assembly variations.. they can be way more complex and invlolved for sure..
it's tough to keep em together..they crumble quick..
interesting i think i might give that a try today...
i wish i was at the pipe classic but i wasn't able to make it which sucks because i've still only seen 1 other person use a torch before in person and he only made some mandrel beads. :twitch:
do you really chip it with nips though chris? i have scissors and figure that'd be better to get clean / consistant slivers.
Cutting them hot with scissors will mess up the chips. Either score and snap or use a wetsaw.
nice work as usual chris, but you hurt my feelings, not inviting me to your weeding and all. when are you going to tell your wife about ME, and our bastard SON!?!?!?! you prick ya!!
haha.. you were in the hospy!! my wife is learning bout you slowly..its the only way its gonna work..
on the chips...you want them as square as possible..or, the edges as sharp and defined as possible...i havent tried using my shears..i would guess it wouldnt work as well, but who knows.... every few days after doing them, i see something new, so i definitely aint sayin there are wrong ways to do it..
most recent weave stuff...
Those slides are sick Chris
such sick work in this thread wow i have to bump it
are those just sections for a tube/bong in the second last pic or are they jars or something. id love a carlson section to have assembeld into a peice
Yes definitly just sicko.
