i'd keep every single one of those. :)
Jesus Faded, that's such a nice (almost 'sweet') thing to say! I'm proud of my work, but I almost feel embarrassed posting pics because of some of the unbelievable work that is on this forum, so really - Thanks!
Candice - I think the black to which you're referring is chinese black tubing. The thing is, I just got some 32 mm that I've been having major problems with, and I'm really starting to hate the way the chinese black rod flows. It feels completely different to me than any other glass.
Nice work diddles...i like the fume and sand blasted hammer the best.
Thanks rg9403 - that's probably my cleanest weld ever. I wish they were all like that!
Been having fun with marbles lately...
The vortex below is my biggest marble to date - just over two inches - and the twisted implosion is around 1 1/8th inches.
And here's a jellyfish...
I love the blow in hammer...nice work!
stuffs looking good. I don't understand the I need to keep it though. Make a oney out of 12 mil for yourself and make money on all the rest.
Voorhees - Thanks man. It's funny you posted, because I've been thinking about your work a lot lately (stay tuned!)
Jay - This is just a weekend thing for me, and the stuff I'm posting here is the very best stuff I've ever done. I wouldn't sell many of my favourites for any price, probably because it's not my main source of income...
So Voorhees, this one's for you. You're one of my favourites on this forum, and your style is something I'm really trying to shoot for. BTW, I had meant to give you props already - I made the swirly spoon after seeing one of your pieces, but I neglected to give the credit for the inspiration.
So, here's my very first attempt at a pipe with a face on it... Crips' recent work definitely pushed me in this direction. I'm not too crazy about it, but it cracked about five times while I was making it, so I suppose I'm just happy it's in one piece...
And here's my second one, obviously directly inspired by Voorhees (he's the man!) I had a hell of a time getting any good pictures of it.
I have a long, long way to go...
dooode those are loookin good last one especially, thats a damn good voorhees right there... kickin ass
sweeeet!!!!!!!!
wow really good job on the face man!!
Here's a hammer bubbler from this past weekend, and a black sherlock. I've tried this classic shape so many times since I started, but this is the first time that I feel like I nailed it. Thanks for looking, and thanks for the kind comments!
Oh right, the pics....
bling, the blk lock is sweeeet.
do you have a close-up of the mb?
I still have the pipe so I'll take another pic...
