Re: HomeFills for Sale $800 shipped with a whip.
Thanks for the tip I'll try calling them on Monday hopefully they can help. It was awesome when it worked. I figure we got about 80 tanks off it before it died. I pay 18 out the door at the local oxy shop.. So around 1700$ - cost of machine and concentrator 1200$. So in the end I came out about 500$ ahead before it conked out. It appears to run totally normal sounds normal just no oxy going into the tank. As far as flame goes it was never any different since I was filling tanks instead of running off the concentrator. Purity was very good. Machine was kept indoors in a temperate controlled environment.

Mine died after 1500 hours, i think i got about 10 free tanks from it and at 50$ a tank i saved around the same as above. I ordered a new one the day my old one broke because its so convenient

I had the same problem the it stopped filling. The part where the whip plugs in went bad. They replaced it and filter with shipping 250. It runs better than before. Address: 1787 Pomona Rd # H, Corona, CA Phone: (951) 734-6440 I recommend them there service was great.

Dan when you say "i think i got about 10 free tanks from it and at 50$ a tank" are you meaning AFTER it already made enough to break even on the initial investment?

Yep, should have clarified. I saved around 500$ after the initial 750$ I spent for the homefill got paid off and I had the convenience of not exchanging tanks. Mine broke and I immediately got a new one

Re: HomeFills for Sale $800 shipped with a whip.
I have nine of Homefills in stock. Most have super low hours. I am also getting a ton of requests for custom whips. I am happy to make these. I use all stainless and brass parts oxygen safe and 3000 PSI rated. I can make long whips. I can make whips that you can fill and torch at the same time. I can also make multiple tank whips or any combination.
I do discounts for people who have bought units from me or by multiple units.
Let me know if you want an compatible oxygen con. I have those too.

Is an Airsep Newlife Elite compatible?

Re: HomeFills for Sale $800 shipped with a whip.
I have had many questions on this subject. The Homefill requires 14psi and 2LPM. The homefill compatiable concentrators have a special homefill port. That put out the exactly requirements. If you use another concentrator I recommend one that has higher PSI. You also need to make sure your purity is good at a higher PSI. My recommendation is to use a compatible invacare unit. XL, Platinium XL and Perfecto II. I have had great results with all of these units and they have the price tag similar to all other 5LPM units. My whole system only uses about 450Watts metered.

Re: HomeFills for Sale $800 shipped with a whip.
so these low hour homefills are the ones that are $800 with a whip? i've got a two ex15's and a mini15 coming....i assume i only need to use one oxycon to fill but can i use two for a faster fill? i'm clueless on homefills.

Re: HomeFills for Sale $800 shipped with a whip.
What in heavens name is a "Whip"??? Seems to be pretty important but would be nice to know what it does.

Re: HomeFills for Sale $800 shipped with a whip.
When people say "whip" they are referring to the flexible hose that connects the homefill unit to the tank it is filling. Normally people connect their little green bottles directly to the homefill unit to fill them. But lampworkers are filling much larger tanks so a "whip" is needed.

Re: HomeFills for Sale $800 shipped with a whip.
Anthony, are there any of these left? i left you a voicemail a little while ago. i'm ready to order.

Re: HomeFills for Sale $800 shipped with a whip.
We are starting to run out of these. We have a couple left but they are going fast and I don't think I will be able to have them available at this price for much longer. Don't forget to ask me about our custom whip setups. Pictures of my setup coming soon...

Re: HomeFills for Sale $800 shipped with a whip.
I got a couple of the these left. I am selling them at a discount because they have cracked handles and a bit higher hours 700 or so. $725 They work fine. After this I will only have rebuilt ones for sale. They will have a 6 Month warranty.

Re: HomeFills for Sale $800 shipped with a whip.
I'm interested in a home fill. I have no idea what to look for. This sounds promising. I have two k tanks I want to keep filling. I have seen some videos of home builds. What do I need beyond this set up. Is this the machine that can run multiple oxygen concentrators? How many can it run if so? Thank you @ Boston.

Re: HomeFills for Sale $800 shipped with a whip.
this is the machine that takes the generated oxygen (from the oxygen concentrator) and compresses it into a high pressure cylinder. Airtight, you ask "i have two k tanks to keep filling" as well as "is this the machine that can run multiple oxycons"....two completely different machines. a homefill does just that....fills a tank via it's compressor.
the machine that will run multiple oxycons....idk if you are referring to an hvo or oxyfrog type system but there are way cheaper options than going that route. also take a look at the date on the thread...this one was last active in 2012. keep your eye on the classifieds, they come up for sale often and almost never are $800 these days.
