kage here. i've been waiting to be the 761st post of this thread, sorry i did shout out earlier.
I'll be the first to ask - what's up with 761?
and notice..the time.... 11:11 on 1/21/2010 I'd say it's significant.
oh this is getting exciting - wondering what's going to blow up!
^&^^ multiply the number of the post by the time, subtract the date. take this number and divide by your birthday year then add the number which is associated with your favorite month. if it is an odd number then take the square root, if an even number then multiply by the number of pets you own. if you don't own any pets then multiply be the number of times you floss your teeth per week. if you don't floss then multiply by the number of $2 bills you have in your wallet. if no $2 bills, then multiply by the number of junk mail items recieved in the mail yesterday. the remaining number will be the gps coordinince to osama bin laden's secret hide out. he's waiting there with pizza, safety material and 1000 lbs of misc color. :D
what up all!!
keith here from miami florida!!!!

Hey all,
Graham B from Colorado but in school in New Mexico. 20 years old and an astrophysics major at NMT. Been working Boro for just over a year. Any NM artists need an apprentice for Summer 2010?\
Googs here. aka the Nanny.
Just started with the torch in April 2009. Have been fusing for 9 years.
Can't get enough of the torch, hopefully I can be as good as some of the people I read about.
hello name is jen aka jenga
been glass blowing on and off for 4 years, started as a hobby then did my first show with my boyfriend about 6 months ago. I am still learning and enjoying the art of glass
My name is Douglas A.K.A. Doglass. I am currently looking to buy my first torch. I've been looking at the Scorpion. I think that it may allow for me to do larger pieces, when I become more experienced. I just found this forum and I think it is very cool.
welcome new folks.
Hey Y'all,
The name is Ron, aka Manfromron, aka Okewon, aka Reginald, aka Dick Weed.
I am a Critical Care RN in my twentythird year of practice and need something to balance all the butts I've wiped in that time.
Was always impressed with "glass blowing" but put off by the team sport aspect. Lampworking is something I'd like to get good at. This forum has been a great place to lurk, so many other sites are stale. I appreciate the experience and info you all give up.
Later, Ron
Life is NEVER boring around here, welcome all noobs.
Hey Ron , I moved from Van Wa a couple years ago . You should hit up some shops in Portland , there are some that will let you watch and learn or just chill and get to know another . I take trips down there every once in a while , maybe I will hit you up when I am gonna be down that way .
oh and go to the oxy store on 76th ? in between Andresen and st Johns , I want to say vancouver welding but there is a storage place across the way and some other places right next to them , was a blue metal building .
Anyway go there tell them you are a glassblower , it was 12 bucks for a 250 CF tank refill , cheapest I found it .
Hi this is bruce from the moon marble co. I have been making marbles for about 13 years. I was going to post in the show section and thought i should say hello. hello
Howdy. Ashton here in Dallas. Started blowing glass about a year and a half ago, been on and off the torch since then... mostly off I'm afraid. New shop is near completion though, only missing the ventilation at this point.
Been lurking on here for year or so. Have found most all the answers to my questions so far by looking through old posts, this site is great.
Hello all, Danny aka Nana here blowing out of El Paso, yeah the glassless city. Been behind the torch on/off since june of '07 but I'm back with a vengeance! I've frequented this site since about dec09 and since then i can say I've grown so much as a glass artist thanks to all of your help and info. I'm just here to be part of a glass community since i can't find a single blower here! :bangHead:
