yep you got what welders call flash burn I got it from not flipping down the mask fast when I was doing prodo welding at a factory! I would lay in bed holding to cold beers on my eyelids when they got warm I would pound them down and get a new 2 beers it hurt so bad I could not sleep tell I passed out! It usually only happens once! Then you never let it happen again.

For real tho, I got flash once or twice before. I usually take like 4 tylenol and go back to sleep.
Yep dom sleeping is the only way to get away and over it, as it is miserable tell its healed up. took about two full days before the annoyance factor was gone the first 24hrs are teh worst part.
fuckin A good 10 hrs of sleep and there feelin great today, fuk you guys are rihght it will prob never happn again.. i seriousley thought i might have glass dust in em, but i didnt really make any glass dust..
good now i can go play today..

That sucks Crip,I had that happen to me for a few days when I first got liquid. I would spend 6-7 hours in the shop raging & when I woke up my eyes were just like that & all gritty feeling,they got white during the day,but hurt at night & when I woke up. I've been spending less time out there,to try to be healthier,I think I need better lighting though. Does anyone know if inadequate shop lighting will cause welders flash? or is it just staring into the flame for too long?

Nice work, once again, crip. The shaping on those is pretty cool - unique. You see a lot of color variations, but for the most part, most that you see out there all seem the same.

might be one of my best yet as far as cleanness goes, but i still jacked up a termination on the neck part BLAHHH its just shy of 4 ozs i think a lil to thick..
kinda tried a bowtie thingy but only got half, so what the trick after you slit it in half do you split it again off axis??

Lookin' good Crip,the cobalt & white is simple,but real sharp,nice combo.If you're using the cobalt tube,you can fume it half silver half gold & then lay lines on it with 4 or 6mm clear,that makes some nice reversals too. For the bowtie,make a reversal ball just like you do with the wig-wag reversals,but spiral it instead of wig-wagging,then tear that in half right on the terminations. It looks like on this one you maybe didn't switch axis on your spiral? But anyways,that's it,all you should have to do,except thicken & shape them up after the tear. You can also tear a wigwag reversal in half too,makes a cool butterfly bowtie pattern.
