Ya just a little tidbit. If you over tighten the 1/4 npt or barbs connected to the reg without tape it can lead to a leaky connection. Tape should fix it, and even with tape you want it pretty tight, but not too tight.
I cant believe you got s spherical marble your first day without a crack, thats crazy. You should try a soft glass marble with no boro puntys!
Your latest bowl pic is looking better. Have you learned to thin glass out? That would help the mouthpiece look a little better. Theres a hot glob snap tech that would help you right about now which is also essential to opening up holes. Youd probably need someone to show you. ANyways, heat up the part you want to thin somewhat hot, stick a semi-warm or cold rod to it, and pull it out as staight as you can. If you pull out a little bit at first, then pause kinda like pulling stringer pause, it will thin it out more than if you pull it out right away. Then get a 5-7mm rod tip about 1 inch molten, and wrap it around where you want to break it off onto the cooled part you pulled out. Then wiggle back and forth until it snaps. If it doesnt snap, hitting it with a tool strategically, or tapping the wrapped part on your can may work. Note, if you have it on a coldseal, grab it with your tongs before trying to snap in any of the 3 ways or alternaitive ways so it doesnt fall off onto your table. A full seal is most ideal for punty when doing the tech.
Thanks for the tips funk, got regulator today, thanks again justin and mountain glass for getting me back up and running , melted a little bit today gonna hit it hard tomorrow though

Wonky night ,spoon #4 and tried my first wig wag on rod, stretched it too much and couldn't condense it back down so it folded all over the place was a pain to shape it back to a marble don't think it will survive very long, learned a lot though Attachment 73454Attachment 73455
