My first piece

Been working on some rigs. Still struggling with getting nice even seals at the joint/down stem and at the neck/can connection as you can see in the pic. It's a work in progress. I'm all ears if anyone has some useful tips on making them better. :)

Looks good,mini torch helped me a lot.Doing the fitting and downstem all at once with a maria comes out nice for me too.

Thanks, I do have a smith little I use. I'll have to try hooking the joint up to the down stem first before I drop it like you suggested and see how that turns out. I seem to be having issues with evening out the material mainly. Looks good through my shade 5's then I take them off and I'm like oh hell no it's Janky. Lol
Guess it's just a matter of practice.

Haven't updated in a while. Here's the last piece I made. This was for a friend down in Tennessee. Slyme mini tube. This thing is pretty tiny. Wish I would have got a reference pic before I sent it. but it's maybe an inch taller than a bic lighter.
