Looking good Crip!

Here's a tip on the bottom of the cup. Before blowing it out into the cup shape, gather a bit on the end of your blank and marver it into a cone. Add a "nub" to the end of the cone and thoroughly melt in. Makes for a nice looking, professional cup, in my opinion. and it's easy to attach your stem to without distorting the cup.

Fantastic for a first try!

Avoleo is the term for what you are loosely describing. I like them but also like them other ways too! And lots of folks have different designs and taste on length,color, and size of there avoleo's. Sorry for butchering the spelling on the word Avoleo a lot of our glassblowing terms are not in spell check.

you have really gotten onto something with the goblins there it is very different. you should keep progressing your style in that direction its awesome.

i might go out n try some more stuff tonight or maybe tomorrow, all the goblin stuff is sold xcept the goblet i knocked it over and broke it in half so i think ill make 2 out of it..

got a better idea for a tail instead of 3rd leg for the cups ..

i kinda like the three legs,it gives it a weird symmetry. maybe throw three arms on too, and have each of the three heads facing a different direction

i re did it into 2 goblets tonight,, might be cool

Really neat idea using those goblins to make a goblet stem. I agree with the masses here, your goblin work is quite good, and fresh. keep em comming. peace.

N-I-C-E save on the gob/gobs, Crip - wow - those things are so f***ing cool... The new gobs are seriously freaky...in a GOOD way! Your sculpting abilities show great promise - have you done sculpture or worked with ceramics before? (really, really impressed)

you can go super short man , maybe 1/4 inch of the ground section ! if you want some good gong go with UST you cant go wrong :) , keep torchin !!!
