Someones a little uptight lately... sorry to offend you but i think I'm protected by my first amendment rights, and well lets face it, to get an account here you have to be approved by a moderator/admin, and it was approved with no problem. lol tip of the iceberg indeed, got my lathe fund at about 1/25th of what i need, and maybe if i stop treating all my graphite tools like steel ones (aka dropping them on the ground repeatedly) i might save some money

Also, if you break a graphite rod you can shape the end to use as a signature stamp. All my broken rods have butterflies I forget to use on the ends.

I've dabbled in all sorts of artistic mediums and I've decided glass will get my full attention.
Holla, Danny here from CG, AZ...Been in the pipe industry for 15yrs....I mess around with the torch but never really gave it a go...Now here in the coming wks will be hopping behind the torch..Always been amazed on glass creations n hoping I can too get there one day...Wish me luck

Ana here. I've learned some stuff from Glasstafarian for 5 years now. Glass & its useful paraphanlia projects have been both a creative outlet & a way to pay the bills for me.
I've been Sikly, Glass by Ana, a couple other things, notably a PIA. ha!:evilLaugh Pain IN the Ass - i'm kind of a stickler with my long learning curve
This is officially my first post. my other post in the 9-11 was deleted 'cuz i was logged out without knowing it & i had to get back to "work" instead of posting again- yes i love glass so much that's how i think about - very very difficult but not a real job.
i thot for a second this would be a way more benign thread than the 9-11 10th WTF thread, but i can see that its not! Whoa, its just my name. Catch me on a bad day & i might say some stuff like that too. Then again i don have a more attention grabbing name.
Anyway, i'm here in New Mexico - firing up the torch 5 times/ week. Its been real fun to read this stuff...looking forward to more.
