diggin' the honeycomb. love the colors. i see nothing wrong with it. maybe a tighter twist on the horns, but that's just personal preference and not really criticism. keep up the good work. looks great.

Wow that looks really nice! Great color combos!
ya looks tight man but i dont know what the price should be..
when pricing work keep in mind at this point you will definetly improve, so the things you need to keep in mind is if you do sell it to a shop and it sits next to some nicer peices ( lets say shakedown street because its local to you and they have some nicer peices) and it doesnt sell for a while and you go back in there in a year and its still sitting their they are going to remember that they bought one of your nicer peices from you and it didnt sell, even though in that years time your work has gotten ten times better but they may not be willing to give a shit, because to them you are only as good as the last money they made off of you, they are after all a buisness.....also usually most people price their peices based on how much time it took to make, and you have to remember that in a year you will be making nicer stuff in a shorter period of time......my suggestion is if this is the nicest peice youve made, keep it to either use or to have in your case as other people have suggested, if someone is interested ask $200 and see what they say, atleast you will get some feedback.
As you may notice i dont comment on these type of threads often anymore as i havnt been blowing glass since i moved out here, but i felt obligated to comment seeing am local to you and have been in all the local shops, my constructive critisisim on the peice would be to work on getting your welds so they flow together to look more like one peice, this will also make them stronger...if i get my shop up and running again which i will be hopefully soon i would gladly help you with this!
Keep at it mang.
Sweeeeeeet! I'm stoked for you that this is such a nice piece - love the colors and details!
Thanks loads for all the feedback everyone! I really appreciate it a lot.
Haven't posted in awhile, but I've been busy...
very nice work. i like what you do with your colors.
I like your colors also, but mainly the sculptural aspect of your work, and how the fact they are pipes takes a back seat the fact they are art.
digging the shaping of that dry, nice work...
Thanks dudes.
Here's a stemless with a horn inspired by the one on firekist's snakeskin bub... I've made lots of pendants like it, but for some reason never thought of making one into a horn for a pipe.
Wow!
I want it!
If only I had money!
those are lookin sick diddy
Really nice!! I really like the colors in the bowl.
Very nice work man. That red one is super clean.
I'd only made a couple of donuts before, but I realized I could make small ones with my bail biter, so I made this...
Youve got a realy nice eye for colours and all your pieces flow really nicely, sweet work insiprational! :D
Hey diddles, are each of your donuts a seperate section? I like the color combo on that last one.
Nope they're all one section. I had some 16 mm cobalt tube left over from making icicles at christmas time. I didn't really plan it, i just blew a bubble at the end of my tube, flattened it, and used my bail biter to touch the middles together. The donut worked out so well that I just went up the tube two more times doing the same thing. Sorry about the shitty pics - they don't really show the donuts very well.
Thanks for the compliments!
nice work!
