My attempt at making lime green.
All different greens.
TAG slyme and kiwi over Asian transparent green and silver fume is my favorite.
North Star jade and millennium moss over transparent green and silver fume I like too.
This all came out of the kiln recently.

nomad, you do realize that you can upload more than one pic per post, and make more that one comment per post, right?
For some reason it is hard to do with my phone.
Actually I can only get on the site from emails. I can't get on it with my browser anymore.
gottcha.
I like ruby Red and cobalt blue for wrap and rakes.
But I am making a small batch of greens in all different colors for the shop.
I need money to go away this weekend.
Maybe I will show you the case before I go to the shop?
I'm going to a casino in the pocinos Sunday night. Need some money to gamble. Everything else is paid for.
I am bringing this case to the local shop I deal with. It is made of all different colors of green done in a few applications to see what looks best.
I have more glass in stock. I am working on another big order too. But it has been hot and I have not done as much work as I would like to have done.
I have to pay augusts rent in september with that month rent looks like. I got a little behind. But at least I have the orders. I guess I can do that when my parents are the land lords.
Dude you think we could get more glass pics?
I need the inspiration. Maybe some new designs?
This is what I have been doing.

I have been cutting an uncut opal too. I can do it in the air conditioning.
I found a video on the internet on how to cut and polish them. They sell them for a lot of money but they take days to finish by hand.

Maybe make a ring from this pair I made back in college.

Maybe I will make glass synthetic opal jewelry next?
jewelry is going to be my winter project. i already have most of the supplies and findings, just need some tools/tooling (jewelers pliers, dapping punch and hammer etc) and a shit ton of beads.
i've been out of the shop since wednesday so nothing to show.
Needle nose pliers and a ball pien hammer I got at Home Depot.
My teacher said go to hardware store and nickoles files are best.
I got a couple things online though too.
I almost wish I majored in metals. I got good grades but it was expensive to buy all the silver and stuff.
But I would probably have a better paying job.
Just jewelry was not as cool when I was younger.
Actually I got a lot of tools from the discount bins at lowes and Home Depot for not a lot of money.
I bought most of them on the job.
Yeah. My wife is a silversmith. I wish I had ¼ the skill with metals that she does. I can fume with it. That's about it...
lol i'm in the same boat, but have a few instruction books to help me along. i'll finally use all these friggin bead mandrels that i've been hoarding lol.
Just popped this pendy out from last night. I'm stoked on the retti but my favorite part in the color I used for the rest of it. I did a blow in of unobtanium into purple lollipop. Kinda like an electric purple velvet. Looks awesome in person.

Sick pendy!
I just got back yesterday from Eugene for 5 weeks. Thanks to Misha , she got me a great shop to work in. I should be relocating/living in Eugene before the year is over. Just tying up loose ends atm.
I found its easier to sell glass in eugene. The buyers only look for 20% , not a 100% like the east coast. you can move more inventory. People get cheaper pipes. Everyone wins.
Anyways....
The friend who I was staying with has a genie stone cutter. I have a few dozen opanls I cut and polished, along with a hand full of other minerals.
I also got to mine in private mines in montana..... amazing scepters, emeralds, aquamarine, and sapphires. I mine herkimer diamonds a few times a week in n.y.. (tonight I'm o.m.w. after work. )
Interesting this a current topic. I will edit pics with stones after work.....
Im on my way to phish in Colorado this week. Always looking for new collecting sights for stones. I can show anyone in upstate n.y. some nice spots as well.
No more lake george?
I will admit that buyers around NY are not so great. I sell mostly to the south west where I spent a lot of time blowing glass also.
I mean the guy in New Paltz just told me he bought $22,000 worth of imported glass for the year. With the huge markup he gets that is a lot of money. No wonder the IRS is looking into his store.
Sometimes I am lucky getting $100 out of them. Most of the time more but there is no telling.
My pics didn't load right.
I'm working on a order right now.
