Take a sharpie and mark around your tube, that way you can do four lines opposite of each other and those can be your guide. The marker burns off clean.
love the increase in # of lines, nice progression on the rettis
right on, good tip dom. i did alright on the four lines, but as they got progressively tighter i started to lose it. i will do that tho, sounds like a great idea.
Lookin great man! Encalmos are tough
nice progress on the retti Kut.
looks great man, how do you get so much lines in it, with what size of clear do you start, still curious about the whole process, my experimenting looks really awfull hahahehe:D
i started with 50mm by 5mm, puffed it out a bit for more diameter. you pull stringers almost as thin as you can, and start with four like dom mentioned equidistant. then half the sections, over and over. when you have one half of you rlines laid down, melt in and slowly twist trying to heat evenly so it all twists the same. then do it all again using the lines you already drew to guide your new starts. twist back again.
hey kut have you ever tried a striking color like butterscotch or blue moon in your implosion name marbles..for me they dont get see thru and it gets a lil fume haze round letters and looks cool...
no i havent yet. usually i have been using a matching color to the piece i am working on. i would like to try those tho, particularily blue moon, i bet it looks rad.
Try blue caramel... yummy
right on, good luck with that. i remember way back you were like how do you make those dishes? i thought you were kidding or something and gave some wacky yet accurate answer :D
