Unlmtdglass, the nice thing about this format for the exchange is no one gets burned. If they didn't send in a pendant they don'tg et one in return, so we still have a 1:1 exchange (as long as we have >6 people, which we do)

We always have a couple who forget or blow it off... it happens, it's usually not a problem, but it is disappointing.

One more day... they're all packed in their shipping boxes and well padded. I have to get more labels to print and get to the post office in the morning and they'll all be going out!

Sorting, packing, and shipping these is a lot of work and I have about a million times more gratitude and respect for Glassdoc (Marina) for all the times she's done this - but once the system is in place it went smooth.

I have to say some of you guys really outdid yourselves on this one, and for the new guys worried about perfection and their place in the game... don't. There's a sampling here of people with maybe a year (or less) to 20+ years, and in many cases I wouldn't be able to tell just by looking when you started. The whole point of this exchange is to inspire and motivate. Mostly we (a few people helped me grade the work sent in) tried to be fair in sorting the work, but it's all so subjective. Nothing was broken, and there was only one thing that may or may not be a pendant depending on how you look at it, I really hope everyone loves what they get back and wear them with pride! Maybe you get back something that wasn't as skillfully executed as what you sent in, keep in mind we all start somewhere and some of these artists will be a big hit in a year or three or ten, and you'll have something from when they were starting out (oh you hipster, you). Maybe you get something that looks way beyond what you sent it and are worried everyone showed you up - don't worry - they didn't, and now you have a treasure that will inspire you to give back in the same way next year and for years to come.

On the off chance that there's any problems (got back your own work, something broke in shipping), please PM me as soon as possible and we'll get it sorted.

Thanks again to everyone who participated, I will update this once more when the boxes are in the care of the post office, then we can all post pics of what we get as they come in!

AAAAND they're OFF!

Shipped 22 boxes, out of 28 (I think?) participants. There were a few locals, and a few people who share an address so less boxes, yay!

They should start showing up around Saturday, but I suspect the bulk will turn up Monday/Tuesday. When I start seeing pics posted I'll post pics of my scores :)
