Thx guys :DThe top of the mouth piece was annealed first than worked and attached at the weld. The very top of the mp was out of the kiln but the rest was in for the second annealing. Also forgot to give props to Sara! A local glass artist who came by the shop and worked a couple bridges for me on the hand torch when the big assembly happened and my hands were too full to run the torch. Thx Sara! You rock!

Uh victory? It's a welders torch that far and beyond could be better. After really using it for the first time with this piece I'm looking for a better replacement. I'll prolly try and scoop a lynx hand torch sometime this summer.

took a break from fume trapping and have been on a honeycomb kick lately. The sherlock is an old piece I had done a while back. The marble on the side popped off and I've had it since. I decided to pop it back in the kiln and add a couple of attachments. The inline suffered a internal crack on the inner stem right when I was about to put the final ground joint on (the lines in the picture is just water :)) I was ready to call it but Hippi suggested I pop a hole in the can and try to fix it. It worked out great and was able to cover the hole with a horn attachment. Thx again for that idea bro :). The bubbler I just finished last night, and its my attempt at keeping things clean and simple, while elegant. I think it came out well and am confidant the next ones encalmos will be better. Ok here we go-

Thx indie, and yessiir I made the tubing myself. Gotta get a vacuum soon tho and it'll look better I'm sure. I'm wanting to make a tut soon tho on how to make almost 10 inches of 25mm color tubing off of one stick of color.

My friend Grayson came by and were making a piece. It's still in the works but I manage to squeeze a orchid demo outta him. Below is my first orchid/solid sculpture piece. My Oxy tank was in it's last leg so the fusha reduced a bit. Oh well I was just happy I had enough oxy to finish the piece. I like how mushroom-ish the stem/mouthpiece looks on that last piece. Looking at it just gave me an idea for a piece I'll have to find some time to make.
I'm really diggin the bub with the foot from post 224 also. That black between the sections really makes the colors in the honeycombs pop. Foot looks pretty even too.
