Very cool! Glad to have you. :)
Re: Rollcall - introduce yourself!
Morning everyone I'm qball I have wanted to get into glass blowing for a while now and I have not started buying equipment yet. I have been doing a lot of reading and searching. I am in the Denver area.
Re: Rollcall - introduce yourself!
Brandon, I've been behind the torch for 2 years now. I started doing prep for a tube company. After a year of that I started my own thing. I've focused heavily on concentrate rigs, and most recently Vac Stax! Can't wait to see what the future in glass holds for all of us!
Thank you!
Re: Rollcall - introduce yourself!
Hello everyone on the forums, allow me to introduce myself. I have been working with glass for almost five years already. It has been a great experience and if it was not for this forum I would not be where I am today. Great place to connect to people and share ideas about working borosilicate glass properly. Awesome people, heres to the next five years!
Re: Rollcall - introduce yourself!
Welcome to you all.
There are classes posted often in the events section, and hit up the people connection to find people in your area. Good luck!
Re: Rollcall - introduce yourself!
Hey all, my name is Brad... spend a lot of time on here, working on gathering all the necessities to get started, and use this forum frequently for information.. Just wanted to say thanks to everyone that contributes, its an extremely valuable resource. Im in north east NJ, and eager to learn if anyone is ever doing classes or needs an extra set of hands in the area! Blown glass a few times but have yet to try a torch...either way, i realized quickly glass is my passion and I'm excited to continue the adventure.

Howdy everyone! My name is Tanner aka Void GlassWorks, I'm an entirely self taught flame worker. I'm eighteen years old and have been on the torch for three years. I'm the only person to work Boro in my home town in Montana. I'll be moving out to Oregon to pursue the art in a couple months and I'm excited too talk face to face and melt with another artist. Every one on TMP had helped me alot and I'm glad to introduce my self to the community

Re: Rollcall - introduce yourself!
Hey everyone! My name is Gabe and I am a "newbie"! Lol I love looking at and talking about glass and I own a few nice pieces and have used way more although but I would still consider myself very ignorant in the business of glass. I love colors! I think it's so cool to see what everyone is doing and where they are taking the glass game. Ive been so inspired by so many of you guys!! I'm both amazed and jealous at all of the insane talent, skill, and creativity!! I've always talked about wanting to learn to blow glass and sat in the basement talking about dreams to long! I've just recently, in the last two months, decided to start taking steps towards learning how to! I'm already a real artsy person and I do a lot of sketching and doodling the most but I also do a few other forms from time to time and just love trying new things. I'm still reading up on what to buy and acquire before I start trying to play. I'm also looking for classes before than as well or even someone to kinda give me advice I guess. I live around the Tallahassee, FL area but I'm down to have a convo with anyone who wants to chat even if not necessarily just about glass! I've already had a information overload reading on here for too long but it's so awesome and I just friggin love this information at the tip of my fingers and I'm so thankful for you all! Much Love to Everyone!!!
