anyone know how to strike slyme back to opaque or is it a one way street when you work it till it's translucent? I tried kiln striking up to 1100 and had no change.

Yeah I've always gotten a translucent green when workin slyme. A friend of mine kept tryin to get it back that opaque color but he couldn't get it either. But from what I was reading on another thread, there are different types of slyme. Some more dense than others.
Check it out... Post #28

Oh and sick work as always. Luv tha fumed retties!
That's one badass belt buckle. Is that fume in the center?
Yeah thats a fume section in the center there.
I've had these friends for over 15yrs now and they just celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary so I made this for them. my largest fumacello implosion measuring 1.75" in diameter with a disc marble stand that has a depression pressed into the center of the face, almost a dish. I'm pretty happy with the result.
just noticed the fingerprints on the mib, sorry folks. thanks for checkin it out

Nice looking marble! The glowing effect in the first pic from the sunlight is awesome. Cool idea for a marble stand too.
wow, great work!
Very nice work man!!
HOLY SHIT BOIS! Killing it!
definitly the most bizarre shape that has ever come out of my shop. this is my first upline I've ever did. It was supposed to be a custom order but it spiraled into a larger more complex project than I initially had intended.
thanks for checkin it out.
there are a couple shots of me putting the finishing touches on this one.
