Re: Andy R Progression
lookin good lookin good.. just keep practicing,
as far as practical advice, melt your color in more, use more heat, the hotter the better...
like the little head thing too, it's cool...

Re: Andy R Progression
looks like my first couple pieces man! keep at it!

Re: Andy R Progression
not too shabby. looks like you got the bend of the sherlocks nice and hot before you shaped them. I have a problem with the neck creasing at the bend when I don't get it hot enough before I bend it. Doesn't look like your having the same problem. keep it up man!

Re: Andy R Progression
I like the colours on that first one.

Re: Andy R Progression
Good start.
imo tho those claws/horns are way too long and skinny, theyll scare people away. I also usually try to have them pointed or tucked tword the piece so they dont feel like theyll get caught on anything

Re: Andy R Progression
Thanks, the red/white striped one ended up cracking a bit, but I just got my kiln today, so that shouldn't be a problem anymore, here is a little benderback? on the end of a spoon. That horn is kind of in the way when your using it lol.

Re: Andy R Progression
have you notice ?...everybody is on the positive we all know kinda know how you feel........keep on practicing ....and flame on.

Re: Andy R Progression
Keep it up. I would wait on the horns until you have a better idea of how the glass moves. Those things look like a filleted hand waiting to happen. Other than that I think you are off to a good start.
