October Homefill Sale $699 Shipped

Going to be funding my new shop here in the next so I am having a sale till the end of the month while supplies last I have a limited supply.

I will also consider torch trades as the guy I got them from wants to learn to blow glass. I would also consider kiln trades as I am looking for something with a guillotine door.

Homefill and Whip shipped in the lower 48 states: $699 with a gauge or a regulator hookup. If you pay with PayPal add $10. You cannot fill a tank with a regulator hookup whip without a regulator attached to the whip, but can torch and fill at the same time.

I will add an additional multi whips to add an additional tank for $50 again you must have two tanks hooked up to be able to fill.

Oxy Cons are the only thing needed to fill tanks. The machines require 14-21psi of 90+% o2 quality. Invacare units usually work the easiest.
With a good quality oxy con I have been consistently getting 1500psi in a 24 hour period.

I will never go back to hauling tanks again I am too spoiled using three dollars in power to fill a tank, and never have to move it and can torch and fill at the same time. If someone needs a really long whip I can do that as well I sold a setup with a 20 ft whip not too long ago.

Good luck on your new shop Drew. Looks kicking' , lots of space . Maybe a Lathe in your future?

Just have to say THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! to Drew for hooking me up with a Modified oxy con & Home fill. I have a Liquid that I run most of the time but when it dies and I have to wait for delivery it can take a day or two. So i was still having to fill T Tanks to get me by. Now with the oxy con & Home fill he sent me I'm filling my T's myself. To cut down on ware and tare I'm only pumping them to 1500psi because the oxy con has to work harder on the top end to fill them higher than that but 1500psi in 26hrs is not bad @ all. Since I have 6 T Tanks I will never have to pay to fill my T's again. I also got a system for a buddy of mine looking to cut down on his costs and he has saved over $1000 in the last 2 months by using his. Thanks again Drew For the hookup!

What kind of torch you looking for? National 8m with SM 21 tip? Maya w/ marver and foot pedal? Nortel midrange plus , pre-mix top and marver? ..... would trade the maya straight up.

Probably a CC, phantom, lynx, or redmax. I have been offered way to many Major Minors and Nationals which I am not really looking for. Maya torches I have not heard good things about. Right now I have a Mirage and a Major Minor but I want to get the guy something he is not going to want to upgrade from for a while.

understandable. I have a spare 4-stud CC with foot pedal and marver. It works awesome, i'd need $900 or $1100 with the pedal. I really dont wanna sell it but i have a stainless water cooled one now. How many of these do you have left. I'm getting one either way whether i pay you what you want or we work out a deal.

Hey if you dont want to part with it I could use the cash more anyways probably. I think I am sitting at about 3 left right now, and I have to call my supplier monday and get more hose in for multi whips. I am contemplating how many homefills I want to hang on to incase I cannot get anymore I think I want atleast 3 maybe 4 that should last me for atleast several years.

Everything has been shipped out either saturday or today so keep a look out in the mail. I think the post office lady was a little pissed when I brought in 4 35 pound packages all at once.

Still looking for a torch. Probably a GTT either A lynx all the way up to a phantom, cash could go either way depending on the torch. I do not intend on selling any more of these for a good while I am going to be moving and super busy.

hmm i get it now, i have been trying to figure out a way to cover delays when i run out of liquid too, this sounds like a primo solution. just gotta get me 2 or 3 T tanks too.

I can ship to Canada. It costs more though. Really looking for a gtt of some sort, he wants to be able to run them just off of oxy cons. He has enough oxy cons to last him two lifetimes over, and I dont think his wife wants him having a huge tank of oxy.

If no one ends up having something between a lynx and a phantom I will consider it for him. He isnt in a hurry, and I want to get him something that will fit his needs. He has no intentions of ever making pipes, and wants to run oxy cons.

If someone has a phantom they are willing to part with I would trade them two homefills no problem.

cool, well good to know you can ship up here... everything costs more up here lol so extra shipping is not unexpected. the 20 bucks extra on shipping vs 90 dollar t tanks is a no brainer. I'll be getting one of these guys off you regardless of the torch situation, but due to being pretty cash strapped atm and my car being busted I'd like to hold off a bit to see what you want to do with the torch for your buddy.

That said, I'm editing this post down in size from my original posting. I had posted that the phantom might not be good at the psi that oxycons can put out since they cap out around 20psi in my knowledge. after looking into it, 25psi seems like a value people seem to use for the lynx part and most around 25-40 on the outer. 20's not that far off of 25, although it might not drive the outer fire that well. I still stand by my original posts comment that he might be better off with a low pressure torch because of the no compressed gas idea. I think the lynx or a redmax would run better on 20 psi. have you thought about the scorpion? that's actually a pretty kickin torch made for oxycons. might be a bit small though, well so might the lynx.

anyway, gunna let this sit for a day or two then I'll pm you to get that unit. I need to not be paying through the nose for o2 up here.... just cause the local welders are charging out 250/hr doesn't mean we all get that lol.

oh also, I know in a couple older threads you had invacare oxycons as well. You wouldn't happen to have any hanging around eh? lol

Curious if you have any of these left (the home fill and whip) and what the cost and average shipping is (Spfd, Or. destination). Feel free to pm reply.

Good to see someone else will be selling these. You might have better luck in the members glassifieds for these.

On a side note I am waiting to here back from a company about some custom compressors that can fill a K in about 8 hours.

Sell all you want I am a free market man who thinks people should have lots of options when it comes to oxygen. All I thought is you might have some better odd if you started a thread and have some pics.

Honestly I think it is an under developed market that has a lot of potential as a huge demand of the glassblowing comunity. I am only going to sell machines again if I can get something of good quality and afordable enough to be a smart buisness decision for a glassblower to buy.

I just feel like the homefill is just a good starting point for a non profesional who does not use a lot of oxy and pays out the ass, or the rural blowers.


On A Side note I can build 4 Whips if anybody wants one $160 shipped include nipple, paypal and everything.

Homefill has made it possible to have this as a hobby. Otherwise. I couldnt afford it. My power bills is only about $15 per month in my shop. No saying others will get this cheap of fills. I run about 1.5 337cf per week. Things saves me $100 per month min. I have paid for already and then some.

I want to get some names on the homefills I got. I will buy a couple more if I sell these. Whoever wants them send me a pm confirming.
