I'll take the large please! PM Sent!
How does that thing work?
they are for making different size holes in cork. the small has 5 diff sizes, large has 16.
hold the silver handle and push/turn the sharp brass end through the cork
They are nestled inside one another.
I have a set of the steel ones and they are handy to have when you need a hole in a cork. They don't leave the hole all ragged like when you use a drill to bore threw them.
Received today in the mail. Super fast shipping. My second transaction with you and I couldn't be happier. Thanks a lot!
We use them exclusively for rubber stoppers in the lab. You center them on the narrow end of the stopper, hold the stopper steady with one hand and twist the cutter with force downwards,as though you were trying to screw it in. Cuts fast and clean. It helps to use a cutting mat under the stopper th prevent the cutter from cracking and bending on the cutting edge. There is a sharpener that you use to keep an edge on it, looks like a smooth brass reamer, tapered, to handle all the sizes.
wow, never imagined them being anything like that, cool
i'll take the small set if still available...
rp1313, did you make these? If so, are you going to make any more?
