i find that with the W+R i really like the look of alternating the direction of the rake. so go down first. then right next to it swipe up. then down again. and more is better. make them tight together. gives more little details.
Re: Billyjay's progression
Alright cool ill give that a try tonight

Re: Billyjay's progression
The one on the left I tried alternating directions when I raked it it's a lot harder to rake away from yourself guess i had it to hot and pulled it out some Attachment 91539
Re: Billyjay's progression
Shaping looks good.
Random patterns are cool IMO
If you want uniform, u could rake one way leaving enough space for rakes in between, then switch directions, and rake the opposite. Giving you the chance to rake toward yourself the whole time
Re: Billyjay's progression
Yes work on size consistency. Use a ruler. Try keeping your vertical lines straight to. Practice spinning with your hands evenly.

Re: Billyjay's progression
Nice. You might want to stick to blue because it costs less and easier to use. But you handled the red nicely.

blue one on the end looks best due to the most details, take some time to work on your spoon shape as well.
