??oxy cons
I am looking for another oxy con and I have a few questions for you guys.
I know there are companies out there like Extreme and Unlimited Oxygen who convert old medical oxygen units. But what exactly is being changed besides the manufacturer sticker?
Would i be able to take an old medical unit and just hook it up to my torch?
What is the difference between a medical and a converted medical machine?
Thanks!

Re: ??oxy cons
Well, There is a little more to it than switching out the stickers. I think they open it up and crank up the lpm (lite per minture) and also the psi to make it functional for lampworking. These machines medically only put out about 5lpms and you cant find very many torches that will operate under such low lpms and psi. Alternatively you can buy one off craigslist and use one of the tutorials to crank up your psi but than you would be risking damaging you machine as well as your torch if done incorrectly.
