    That might be a difficult thing to get perfect. Do you have any lathe tape. That will compensate for some of the problems with your machine and make it usable. I wouldn't expect to get it perfect...

    why not call chemglass and tell them you want to make a glass torch and see what they recommend? That is what I did and they were very helpful.

    i've made a few with both glass check valves and an extra fill valve. I use the glass bb's and they work ok but sometimes freeze in place when filling. I would not make one without a fill valve...
