    The polymer opals are MUCHO cheaper and are not for glass work. ;)

    The synthetics sold by Morion are gem quality, used for faceting and cabbing in jewelry.

    Profound is charging $35g for Black (green) Gilson type.

    Morion is $27.5g in small quantities and $22.5g if you can afford to place a large order (100g+).
