This would have been my 6th year, i think, but I've got to call it off due to a bulging disk that has pretty much put me on my back for the last 2 months. Probably only worked about 25 hours in that...

IMO the weakest point on these machines is where the tail stock meets the ways. That's where i would want more detailed pics, looking for cracks

Somebody on bere a couple years ago posted about one starting a fire in their garden

Fun fact, you can start a fire the same way with a rubber full of water and squeezed to a thin sphere

I could be wrong, but i didn't think that stuff would hold up being at the bottom of a furnace for long periods. Fiberfrax is a bit more dense, with a higher melting point.

I just need a few square feet of 1" to line the bottom of my darby dipper. Dropped some some soft glass in there while charging and it ate trough the brick in the bottom about a 1/2", trying to keep...

This guy is officially screwing me.
