Been having the same issue here... Heating the milky area up usualy solves the problem... or keeping the glass hot... It seems like everytime I heat the glass again, I get the milky haze...

Place peice in kiln..... And take a shop vac to the blowtube....
I used to switch blowtubes, or shove as much as poss. into the kiln, but this is so much...

I just VERY Carfully ring seal the fem joint in, using the lip on the joint to seal to the can... and be sure to ream the lip back open , so the male will fit properly.
For the 2 pc...

I had a hella time trying to work with the gong set up. Just couldnt figure out the can to joint ratio. SO I just gave up.... And went with an idea I thought would work... Recessed female joints... ...

wow! I'm putting my bar of silver up NOW... And going to an alternative... I've been using the same bar for like5 yrs, and its worth more now than when I bought it... THats insane...
