i've never taken toasting marshmallows on the fire as seriously as i do now.. it's second nature to spin it evenly, and to be sure you heat the back side of the marshmallow by getting that heat...

i do have an aim, it has a fuji controller, and the pxr3 is what the newer aims have. i don't know my model. i'm pretty sure mine is a 120 or 240.. the kiln definitely...
any idea if can i swap the controller out of my aim 9169 to replace it with your controller? sorry.. i have no idea the parameters on these things.. my buttons are basically shot.

ness... polish your blowtube ends before using these boots.. you are very likely to cut them up with sharp blowtube ends.

oh.. if you taper the end of the 12mm down a tad when fire polishing, that makes it go in easier. Another blower said they had problems with the 10mm splitting when put onto 12. i haven't...

Heya Ness, personally I avoid 12 and jump to 13 or 12.7, but my former shop mate uses 12 all the time.
The 10mm boots do fit 12mm, with a little stretching.

if you run multiple samples at once, be sure one exploding won't knock the other one and ruin your layout... which the fiber blanket would...
the only other advice i can give you at this point is devising and using a container that goes in your kiln.. like two baking sheets, one on top of the other, with your rocks in between, might be...
