The beer is bud ice, skyy vodka also has nice blue bottles. I've made beads with it, even blown small ornaments, but good luck with a pipe. Bottle glass is shocky, it might need to go in the kiln...

I picturing a hot drip painting technique. If so stainless steel over other steel, colors might change otherwise. If you need it to come off for sure, paint a thin coat of bead release on the steel...
