Just wondering if you were also using a crock pot with your vermiculite. I've never tried this before but have one ready if needed. It sounded like you just have the verm.

Yeah patience is part of it huh. After watching that video one thing I did different was to add more glass gathered up above it . In the shape of a cone. It helped.
