    No, but since it's easier on the axis 180* from blowtube. If you push the bowl after welding on the mouthpiece, the push is much more difficult.

    Yep. I own 3 300CF tanks. When I go to get more, they just give me fresh tanks. So there's no need to worry about inspection on 'owned tanks'.

    Then I switched to 180 liter LOX.

    Beat me to it. Take your can size tube and make both mouthpiece and can on one piece. Rip in two and stretch and shape for proper proportions.

    Shouldn't take more than 30 minutes that way once...

    You don't have to have a dedicated torch to flame anneal. Just cut the oxy off on the torch you used to make the piece.

    Just use a crockpot with Vermiculite to cool your work. Since you'll probably just be making small stuff it won't matter too much. Just batch anneal, like others are saying.

    This. Also, once you turn it on, you can't (shouldn't) turn it off until all of the glass is pulled. When you melt glass in a furnace, it creates a layer of slag on top.
