Does anyone make their own glass? I have a good quality quartzite on my ranch that I use myself. It is about 98.9% SiO3 and has less than .075% Fe2O3.

That part is called a tube insert. They used are used for situations where you will have a negative pressure inside a tube such as specially cleaned dry pipe. I havent seen rubber ones in a while....
