Well I took a long break both from the forum and glasswork, but I've been getting back into it recently and have some pics to show for it. Any feedback is welcome!

Cool stuff! Looks like you're starting to get the hang of it. Something that worries me are the loops and attachments on the pendants you gave as gifts, none of them look fully melted in, and they...
Stuff looks sick! Looks like you really have a style going for you, stick with it-
Looks good, but dirty pics are against forum rules so you should take those down ASAP.
I'm sorry to have sparked a war haha, really you should just post a close-up pic of all those loop welds and shut all these people up (including me). If you have them melted in, great! If not, oh...
Just so you know before you sell those pendants, those loops need to be melted in 100%, which they aren't. I like that style, but I can next to guarantee they would pop off in a second with any kind...
Whenever I get frustrated I just make some pendants. Barely any patience is required, and its a lot easier to get some nice looking results as a beginner. That being said, you're on the right track...
Those flower mibs look sweet! How do you get the backing so clean and so centered? That's always been my biggest problem with marbles and pendants.
Nice stuff, I like it! Also that green inline towards the bottom is awesome. You seem to have a pretty distinctive style to your work. Keep it up!
Are you doing soft glass work? If you're just starting out with boro, I'd forget about all those tools you listed and order from ABR or Mountain Glass. I've seen some boro workers use jacks and...
Do whatever floats your boat, if you like making pipes and this is mostly a hobby for you (I'm assuming), I say make them because you enjoy making them.
I would think that you would still need to spin, since the force of the flame could blow stuff off center.
Yeah but a good lathe is like 5k+, and you don't have the skills to operate it yet, especially without a teacher. Lathes are dangerous machines.
You're wasting a lot of glass, but as long as you're not selling your pieces and you don't care about getting better as fast as possible, I guess that's okay. You shouldn't be welding anything...
Dude I hate to say it but you might be better off saving the money you use to rent for your own setup... You're not going to get the muscle memory/experience you need from renting once a month. I...
I think that may be the coolest painting I've ever seen...
Also your sherlocks are beastly, I really like the style with the round bottom, do you do those as two pieces or do you bend it from a...
maybe it's just the light or some oily finger prints, but these marbles look a little wobbly. If the colors are boiling, try getting them hot more slowly, and then get them HOT. Really try to make...
Rainbow-ish linework with a black background looks sweet... All of that stuff looks sweet.... I'm jelly.
Holy shit, $500 a week? You must be in a hoppin medical town.
Yeah I actually clicked on this thread to see if he posted any of his work haha...
Cool stuff... what is the spoon with the male joint for?
How do you have the time to make like 10 posts a day with that much writing? I feel like you have a custom keyboard with entire sentences for keys that you just mash on.
Dude, funksizzle makes the least sense of anyone on this forum, but it's mostly harmless, don't let yourself get riled up over it. You're responding to a guys who said
"do you still got some...
He basically wanted people to do really cheap work for him, and he was being shady about what exactly he wanted made and what it was for. I was just joshin around though, didnt mean anything by it....
