Pm sent about the Bravo.
Ok thanks for the heads up :-)
Thank you I messaged them on facebook to see if they are available to make me one :-) I love functional glass art
Wow that is some nice work for your first year. Looks like you have a very good apprentice. Congrats... Hopefully I can get that good within my first few years :)
lol yea 802 marketing :) I interviewed with them and did a short contract job to help them out but the salary they can afford in bennington is well far less than I would accept with my experience. ...
I think this would be a good tool so that you could stamp your initials on all of your work, well larger pieces anyway... I might have to get one of these at some point :)
I found this on Google: http://pipesmokersforum.com/community/threads/ode-to-a-tugboat.7837/
but that shows a wooden tugboat style pipe. I have found some glass ones but they don't quite resemble...
Very nice piece and wish i had the money to throw at this, unfortunately I am looking into torches and equipment myself :) GLWS
I was laid off for 7 months, I am now doing contract work making pretty good money full-time. I am happy to be back to work and would never wish that long of an unemployment on anyone.

Sorry I can't swing this much this month, GLWS :bummed:
I could see this because as someone who is just starting out I could care less if I fiddle and play with scraps :D
I'm interested as well but if no response I will be buying them next week :-)
sorry to hear about the theft, hopefully he didn't just get away with it! GLWS
Interesting..
What do you do with your waste then? I would be surprised if you could just throw it in the trash :)
who made the apple piece in the OP? I would like to see what the costs would be to get something similar done for me :) Feel free to PM me if you created that piece or art :D
so then there is a bit of waste? What would constitute glass unusable? I mean theoretically couldn't you get molds and melt the glass down and turn it back into rods? If you keep the colors...
one hand washes the other and I will be gaining a lot from this community as time progresses so it's only fair :)
if you "just" ordered it wont be done tomorrow lol
possibly interested, PM sent.
This is a shot of the glass you can see the nail is shattered internally. I understand it not being worth fixing as it is a nail but what if I had a sculpture and say it was a solid piece of glass...
From what I hear Titanium is the way to go, i just used this as a basis for getting answers on re-using or fixing cracks in glass :D
Love the reefs!!!!
if your pointing that distributor finger at me it's the wrong direction lol I'm just a guy interested in starting out with glass myself and learning all I can about the practice :)
